Aiko Denki Sangyo Co., Ltd. was established on November 8, 1953 and incorporated on October 8, 1959 to manufacture electronic and communications equipment.

There was some information that the company had changed its name to Aiwa Co., Ltd. in 1959, however, we could not confirm any link to Aiwa Co, Ltd. and Aiko-Denki Corp. history does not have this information either. The company continues to operate as of 11/2010, specializing in design and manufacturing of electrical appliances.
